The Batavia Business Improvement District cultivates and promotes the economic vitality of our Downtown to create a vibrant destination. The Batavia Business Improvement District is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization. It is responsible for the economic revitalization and promotion of downtown Batavia by financing capital improvements, events, programs and services beyond those provided by the City of Batavia. Funding for the organization is from an annual assessment based upon the assessed property value. Programs: Business Recruitment / Development Facade Improvement Matching Grants, Cooperative Advertising, Downtown Promotion & Marketing, Small Business Workshops Events: Jackson Square Concerts, Downtown Batavia Public Market, Beertavia, Summer in the City Festival, Batavia Wine Walk, Christmas in the City
